The first round of the season this past weekend and the CPTC complex was full of learning. For it being our first true seat time on the new colors I didn’t want to have many expectations going in other than having fun and keeping it out of the bails. And we accomplished both of them. We had made changes all weekend finding more comfort every time we hit the ice. Spite the crazy cold weather Mother Nature threw our way (no way anyone enjoyed that) it was an awesome weekend. Obviously I was shooting for some better results but in the end we came home in one piece and that’s what matters. Now that we’ve had some cold days back home I can’t wait to get back and out on the ice as soon as possible. We have some work to do but the WC is right around the corner and I can’t wait. Thank you to everyone on the team for being there and making this possible. from my family in the trailer with me to the crew back home picking up the phone on the first ring to answer questions. I can’t thank you all enough. Here’s the start of an awesome journey!
